The story of Eurocoltellerie is that of two young men who, at only 15 years old, started working as knife sharpeners and in 1988 opened their first shop in Milan.

The goal of the two partners, Antonio Ferraro and Michele Narducci, was to import the American rental model to Italy, through a company that had a vision of services and industrialization that could be present throughout the national territory with a widespread service.

Growth has been steady over the years and today Eurocoltellerie boasts absolute market leadership, expressing:

In February 2021, L'Alberghieria Medagliani (a historical company founded in 1860, a leader in the hotel supply industry) was acquired; thus Eurocoltellerie was able to increase the offer aimed at customers.

Eurocoltellerie is preparing for a new challenge: the European market, and as of April 2023 the Spanish branch in Barcelona is operational

Since its early days, the "arrotino" was the one in charge of sharpening knife blades and razors. He did not have a fixed day or own a shop but rather moved around on a cart equipped with a grinding stone for sharpening. Over the years, Eurocoltellerie has evolved in terms of products, services, and technology, to the point of transforming this professional figure into a genuine global reference consultant for rental, sharpening, maintenance, sales, and any technical need present in the restaurant world, through HORECA and large scale retail trade channels and Normal Trade.
